Day 1
Early morning your professional tour guide will collect you from Johannesburg (Pretoria / Hoedspruit or anywhere in between) to the world famous Kruger National Park (alternative flight option available depending on availability). On the way we will pass through Dullstroom, Lydenburg and on through JG Strydom tunnel where we witness a beautiful mountain pass of the Drakensburg Mountains. We then enter the Kruger and begin our search for Africa's Big 5 on our way to our overnight stop at one of the camps. At sunset we will enjoy dinner under the stars before retiring for the night to the magical sounds of the African bushveld. (Chalets)
Day 2 & 3
Rising early to greet the African dawn and a welcome cup of coffee and rusks, we depart for a whole day's game viewing, continuing the search. Brunch will be enjoyed either at a picnic spot or one of the rest camps in the Park. Back at camp a short siesta can be enjoyed. In the late afternoon after more game viewing we return to our camp to then have dinner while discussing the exciting day. (Chalets)
Day 4
After breakfast, we take a morning game drive, before exiting the Park and making our way up the escarpment to enjoy the Panoramic Route, which offers some of the most magnificent views in South Africa. See God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Three Rondawels and Blyde River Canyon. From here we travel to the gold mining town of Pilgrim's Rest, where you will spend the night in The Royal Hotel. Pilgrim's Rest was built on the discovery of alluvial gold, and maintains the same look as yesteryear.
Day 5
After breakfast the morning is ours to explore Pilgrim's Rest, with its wide variety of interesting shops and places of interest. Sadly we then depart to Johannesburg early afternoon once againn via the trout fishing villages of Dullstroom.
