The passenger's airline or other carrier's tickets when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the passenger and the airline or other carrier.
Cancellation Policy - ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS ONLY:
All cancellations must be received in writing a minimum of more than 45 days prior to departure.
Cancellations will be confirmed to the client in writing.

more than 45 days prior to travel a 30% cancellation fee will charged of total cost
less that 45 days prior to travel a 100% cancellation fee will be charged of total cost
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL TOURS...
for Safaris and Tours specifically done and operated by Imagine Africa Safaris:
IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF AN OUTING BY IMAGINE AFRICA SAFARIS AND IF THE ALTERNATIVE OUTING OFFERED BY IMAGINE AFRICA SAFARIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO THE PARTICIPANT, THE PARTICIPANT SHALL BE ENTITLED TO AN IMMEDIATE AND FULL REFUND.
CANCELLATIONS BY PARTICIPANT:
IN THE EVENT THAT THE PARTICIPANT SHOULD CANCEL THE BOOKING AND NOT FIND AN IMMEDIATE PAID UP REPLACEMENT, AND PROVIDED THAT IMAGINE AFRICA SAFARIS HAS MORE THAN 60 DAYS NOTICE IN WRITING, THE PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A CREDIT FOR THE AMOUNT PAID LESS 50% OF THE OUTING FEE AS A CANCELLATION FEE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLATION MADE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE OUTING COMMENCEMENT DATE.
Changing a Booking:
Clients wishing to change their booking to an alternate date, which has already been confirmed, may do so subject to availability. If clients then require a refund a cancellation fee may be charged.
All tours are booked and all tour arrangements are made on the express condition that Imagine Africa Safaris, their staff, suppliers and agents shall not be held responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, accident or death, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his luggage or other property.
Guests must at all times comply with the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations of the country visited. Should a guest be detected in any contravention of the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations, or should the guest be a nuisance, he / she may be requested to leave the lodge/safari/tour/package, etc without refunding any monies paid and without liability to Imagine Africa Safaris or its staff, suppliers and agents. The guest shall also be obliged to make his/her own way home at his/her expense and responsibility.
We strongly recommend that all clients travelling arrange their own travel insurance or check with their broker to see what cover they would get (in the countries they intend to visit) on existing policies they may hold.
Bookings, Deposits & Payments
Clients are able to make a booking online through the website or by contacting us via telephone, fax or e-mail. A 50% non refundable deposit will then be requested within 7 days to secure the booking.
Full payment is then required 1 month before departure date. Upon receipt of full payment we will fax/e-mail clients confirmation voucher, along with relevant information pertaining to the trip. Clients must insure they receive all this information before leaving on holiday.
Deposits / Payments can be done via Electronic Banking or a Swift Bank Transfer. All payments / deposits where necessary will be automically exchanged into South African Rands on entering Imagine Africa Safaris' Bank Account. All bank charges are for client's own account.
On making a booking it will be automatically assumed that the client / agent understands and accepts Imagine Africa Safaris' terms and conditions as stated on this page.
We recommend and encourage clients to insure against loss of deposit and cancellation fees due to unforeseen circumstances.
Should a client not arrive, the booking will unfortunately be cancelled and all monies paid over, will be held as cancellation fees.
Passport, Visas & Health
All clients must ensure that their passports and visas for entry, multiple entry and return purposes are in order before departing as we cannot be held liable for these as they are the full responsiblity of the client.
Malaria precautions are recommended and the chosen prophylaxis will be the sole responsibility of the client after consultation with their medical practitioner.
ALL RATES ARE QUOTED IN SOUTH AFRICAN RANDS (ZAR), UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CURRENCY / FLIGHT PRICE FLUCTUATIONS & OTHER CHANGES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, & MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
Imagine Africa Safaris CC, also act as a booking agent for some of the packages offered on this website and accept no liability for any injury, loss, accident, delay, cancellation, deviation, alteration, sickness or any other irregularity howsoever occassioned. 'Acts of God' and factors beyond our control (i.e. Floods, Fires, etc.) remain exclusions of our responsibility.
