Vhembe Wilderness Camp

Mapungubwe National Park: Limpopo Province's centre of biodiversity and safari authenticity, a gorgeous coming together of natural elements, mammals, plantlife, birds, and Vhembe Wilderness Camp. An eastern lying camp, resting quietly on the nearby valley ridge, just over from the Limpopo River, this attractive little camp is home to the complete selection of sights and sounds native to the greater Mapungubwe.

Guests at Vhembe Wilderness Camp are accommodated in en-suite wooden cabins, with decks overlooking the valley and solar electricity. Meals can be prepared in the fully equipped communal kitchen, with meals being taken in the boma area. Each cabin is furnished with two single beds and electric ceiling fans, as well as en-suite bathrooms.

Activities at Vhembe include the local heritage tour, morning, sunset and night drives, guided archaeological tours, and the exciting three hour Tree Top Walk.
