Marakele National Park lies at the centre of an awesome setting, all mountains and abundant wildlife, cedar trees and peacefully grazing rhinos. In the exact spirit of this "place of sanctuary", and tucked neatly into the ubiquitous lacy tree ferns, is Tlopi Tented Camp. Unfenced and extremely relaxed, this camp is the embodiment of the quiet and majestic mountain ranges which flank guest's views from their accommodation here.
Tlopi Tented Camp accommodates guests in ten two-bed safari tents, fully furnished, with private bathrooms, scenic verandas, electric fans, fully equipped kitchens (stove and fridge etc), and a braai (barbecue) area.
Marakele is home to one of the world's prime vulture breeding colonies, viewing opportunities in the area are plentiful. Additional activities include morning bush walks and sunset drives, bird watching excursions, and game viewing.

Guests to the Waterberg Mountain Range area understand the serene beauty of the area, framed as it were by the gigantic sweep of the mountain in the background, and the rock festooned slopes and ditches that compliment the surrounding vegetation. In the midst of this, lies "Bontle" camping site - named for the Tswana word for "beautiful", it is an unfenced tribute to the natural freedom and beauty of the surrounding area.
Guests at Bontle enjoy one of thirty-eight individual campsites, electrical outlets available to certain areas and certain camp sites. Ablution facilities are communal, and others are available just outside the park (such as filling stations, restaurants, and shops) in Thabazimbi.
Activities available to guests in the area include walking trails and game drives, as well as stunning animal viewing at nearby watering holes.
