Quaint, mining-inspired accommodation is complemented nicely by the surrounding vegetation and seasonal wildflowers.
The camp itself consists of ten four or two-bed chalets, all with air conditioning, and full kitchen utilities (fridge, stove, etc). Units are all complete with showers, and have access to the camp swimming pool. Ablution facilities offer cold water showers only.
Activities for guests include guided tours of the area during the flowering season, as well as bird watching excursions, and walking trails of the area available for different time periods, and over different routes.
A new rest camp has been built which consists of ten chalets (4 x 4 bed units and 6 x 2 bed units).
All chalets are equipped with air conditioning, fridge and two plate electric stoves. All units have showers, front porches with views over the Gariep (Orange River) and there is a swimming pool in the camp.
