Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is situated above the quaint and picturesque town of Pilgrims Rest and is close to all the natural attractions of the Eastern Highlands and Kruger National Park.
Found at the top of Robbers Pass, Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is situated within a 5000ha private Game Reserve. We boast five well established and scenic hiking trails. Enjoy a game drive in one of our open vehicles with an experienced game ranger. Game drives can be booked at reception on your arrival at the Resort.
The Clubhouse is available to adults over 16. Facilities here include a fully equipped gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steambath and indoor heated pool. Our qualified beauty therapist offers a full range of treatments.
For the kids we have a games room with pool tables, table tennis and a wide range of board games are available. We also have a putt-putt course, trampolines, a childrens playground, tennis courts and a squash court. The resort has four outdoor swimming pools, one of which is heated to a comfortable swimming temperature.
Beautiful, tranquil gardens combine with exquisite natural scenery to create a haven incorporating spectacular cliffs and gorges, forests, sweeping views, murmuring streams, plunging waterfalls and crystal clear pools.
Pointers Rest Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner. Afternoons & Coffeespoons coffee shop is open from 09h30 18h00 daily. Freshly baked cakes, a selection of coffees and other light meals are available should you feel like a change from self-catering. Bookings for dinner are essentail over weekends. Visit our pub for a warm, cozy and friendly atmosphere. Our shop offers a small selection of basic items.
The reception is open from 07H00 to 22H00. Check-in time is from 16H00. Please vacate your unit by 10H00 on the day of your departure. If you are going to be a late arrival, (after 22H00) please arrange directly with the resort for your keys to be left at the gate.


During a cold and rainy evening in Europe we came to the idea to travel to Africa. "A 'once in a lifetime experience' with the entire family". Plans came together and a year later we took the plane to set off to South Africa. All kind of expectations but no one really knows what to expect...
